  ESK COTTAGE, WHITBY This is certainly not 3 stars, arrived the place had mats crawling up the walls which is a health and safety hazard , dust all over skirting board,mirrors you couldn’t see through, pan which was covered in fat, no towels on arrival, iron did not work, this place was filthy rotten. Called ingrid flutes who supplied us with some towels and a iron James from ingrid flutes called us a cleaner in but she never had enough time too finish all the cottage but done a good job of what she done. We asked the owner too release us so we could go and pay for another cottage but he refused point blank and ignored my phone calls. I would not advise anyone too stay here it’s absolutely rotten and getting ran in too the ground. From now on when I book with ingrid flutes I will be checking that it is not managed by the owners because ingrid flutes have a very high standard of cleanliness and I would of enjoyed my stay as I always do when I book with them.
